Born from passion: the gins of Eva Maier Gómez & Stefan Winterling
In the picturesque town of Llucmajor, in the heart of Mallorca, lies the Casa Eva distillery, known for its multiple award-winning Gin Eva. Founded by the oenologists Eva Maier Gómez and Stefan Winterling, the distillery combines international experience from the wine world with a passion for high-quality spirits from Mallorca. As early as 2009, the couple began producing their first gins as a side project, before the first Gin Eva was created in their own distillery in 2012. Since 2016, Eva and Stefan have fully dedicated themselves to the creation of exclusive gins and artisan spirits.
Gin Eva: Regional botanicals for extraordinary flavor experiences
The production of Gin Eva focuses on regionality and craftsmanship. The gins are made using aromatic rosemary and thyme from the Tramuntana mountains, citrus fruits from Sóller, and olives from Valldemossa. These carefully selected ingredients give the Mallorca gin its distinctive character and Mediterranean freshness.
From the world of wine to an award-winning distillery
The products of Casa Eva enjoy high international recognition. “La Vermella” was awarded “Best Spanish Gin” in 2019, “La Mallorquina” received the title “World’s Best Signature Botanical Gin,” and “La Bergamota” was named “Best Spanish Signature Botanical Gin” in 2020. In addition to its award-winning gins, the range also includes Vermut de Casa Eva, artisan spirits, and an exclusive selection of Mallorcan wines in red, white, and rosé.
