Bodega Dalt Turó – Family, Passion, and Characterful Wines from Mallorca
In the charming town of Campos, in the sun-drenched southeast of Mallorca, Bodega Dalt Turó has established itself since its founding in 2014 as a modern winery with a distinctive vision. The winemakers aim to create exceptional wines that stand out for their unique character and high quality. The winery places special emphasis on organic cultivation, so all red, white, and rosé wines are produced entirely organically and are available under the Vi de la Terra Mallorca designation.
Bodega Dalt Turó – From the Mineral-Rich Soils of Campos Straight to the Glass
On 15 hectares of mineral-rich sandy soils, the vines are cultivated with meticulous handwork and organic care. By deliberately keeping yields low and managing the vineyards with precision, wines are produced with intense expression, depth, and personality. Gentle vinification in the state-of-the-art winery preserves the wines’ freshness, fine balance, and moderate alcohol levels, ensuring that every bottle reflects the character of the terroir.
Limited Editions and Creative Wine Variety – The Wines of Dalt Turó
Each year, Dalt Turó produces around 60,000 bottles, all in small, limited batches. In addition to the classic line, special editions are created that reflect the winery’s creativity, craftsmanship, and philosophy. The range includes lively white wines, Mediterranean rosés, and complex red wines with depth and structure. The winery follows sustainable principles and organic methods. Grass is planted between the rows to provide natural nitrogen, while sheep help maintain the soils organically. French oak barrels are used for the red wines, where they age 6 to 12 months to develop their aromatic complexity. Regional grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Malvasia, and Giró Ros are combined with international varieties like Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon to create characterful wines that express the terroir of Mallorca.
