The fine-grained sea salt is a seasoning best used as a finishing touch on food (salad, grilled meat and fish, oven vegetables). It is the Mediterranean counterpart to Maldon salt. The sea salt from Mallorca is dried untreated under the Mallorcan sun. Gourmets worldwide appreciate its flavor, characterized by its calcium and magnesium sulfate content, absent in conventional rock salt. Besides its unparalleled flavor, it contains a natural balance of minerals and trace elements.
