Bodega Binigrau – Tradition Meets Modern Wine Passion
In the idyllic village of Biniali, located in the heart of Mallorca’s renowned wine region, the winemaking tradition of the Batle family began more than 160 years ago. After eventful decades and the founding of the large Macià Batle winery in 1996, brothers Miquel and Matías Batle decided in 2002 to pursue their own vision — and thus, Bodega Binigrau was born.
A Success Story Continues
Since 2002, Bodega Binigrau has been producing exclusive Mallorcan wines that combine tradition with modern winemaking craftsmanship. The winery is located in the heart of the esteemed Es Raiguer wine region and today cultivates around 14 hectares of vineyards. Each year, the team produces between 80,000 and 100,000 bottles of elegant red wines, fresh white wines, and Mediterranean rosés that reflect Mallorca’s unique terroir.
The winery focuses on quality over quantity:
- Internationally acclaimed premium wines of the highest quality
- Biodynamic cultivation methods
- Use of indigenous grape varieties such as Callet, Manto-Negro, and Prensal Blanc, as well as international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Chardonnay
- Maturation of the red wines in French and American oak barrels for 12–16 months
- State-of-the-art pressing hall with temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks

On the palate, it is round, slightly sweet, and fresh, with balanced acidity and a soft, creamy texture. Binigrau B-Rosat 2024 – “The Fresh”
The Binigrau B-Rosat 2024 is a fresh rosé wine from Mallorca, with a delicate salmon-pink hue and a summery lightness. On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberries, currants, and wild raspberries unfold. On the palate, it is juicy, luscious, and elegant, with a vibrant fruit profile. The blend of Manto Negro and Merlot presents a modern, characterful Mallorcan rosé – perfect for those who appreciate freshness and the island’s unique charm in a wine.
