Located in the north of Mallorca, close to the S'Albufera Nature Reserve and just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, Bodega Butxet has been producing distinctive Mallorcan wines since its founding in 2003. The winery is renowned for its commitment to artisanal craftsmanship, authenticity, and exceptional quality, creating characterful wines in small, carefully crafted batches.

Mallorcan Winemaking with Character
Across ten hectares of vineyards, red, white, and rosé wines are produced that beautifully reflect the Mediterranean terroir at sea level. The Perelló Serra family cultivates a carefully selected combination of indigenous grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Prensal Blanc, and Giró Ros, alongside international varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Viognier. The vineyards are managed using predominantly traditional and partly organic farming methods, with meticulous handwork and an uncompromising focus on quality.
The winery follows a holistic philosophy, combining tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship:
- Limited production to ensure exceptional quality
- Traditional vineyard management using historic windmills alongside modern solar technology
- Artisanal winemaking with minimal intervention
- Separate vinification of grapes from individual vineyard plots to preserve their unique character
- Aging of red wines in French and American oak barrels for 10–12 months, adding depth, elegance, and complexity

Butxet Cabernet Sauvignon – "The Profound One"
Butxet Cabernet Sauvignon is a distinguished red wine from Muro, Mallorca, featuring a deep ruby color with violet reflections. On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit, complemented by balsamic nuances and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, it is fresh, well-rounded, and beautifully persistent, with oak that is perfectly integrated into the wine. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Callet, the grapes from two distinct soil types are vinified separately before being blended after 12 months of barrel aging. The result is an elegant and expressive Mallorcan red wine full of character, offering exceptional balance and immediate drinking pleasure for lovers of refined, full-bodied wines.
Butxet Va de Blanc – "The Sunny One"
Butxet Va de Blanc is a refreshing white wine from Muro, Mallorca, with a bright, crystal-clear appearance and delicate green highlights. The nose reveals fresh aromas of tropical and Mediterranean fruits, including pear, apricot, and medlar. On the palate, it is vibrant, fruit-forward, and delightfully easy to drink—a light, sun-kissed white wine that captures the essence of the Mediterranean. This elegant blend of Prensal Blanc, Giró Ros, and Chardonnay is vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve its natural freshness, lively fruit, and crisp character.
