Gin Eva - Unique Spirits from Mallorca
Gin Eva Vermouth, 29% vol. - Vermut de Casa Eva
The tradition of vermouth is a deeply rooted social custom in Spain, Italy, and other Mediterranean countries. It involves meeting with friends or family for a vermouth - a wine-based drink macerated with herbs - and having an aperitif before lunch, especially on weekends. This is precisely the Mediterranean lifestyle we enjoy at Casa Eva! Today, the tradition of vermouth has made a strong comeback and has once again become a cherished gastronomic experience.
The red Vermut de Casa Eva is an experience that captures the essence of Mallorca in every sip. Made from Mallorcan wine and selected botanicals, this vermouth stands out for its unique and balanced character.
Its ingredients include carob, rosemary, farigola, olives, and oranges, all originating from the typical Mallorcan landscape. The bitter note of wormwood and gentian is balanced by sweet notes and citrus fruits, creating a complex and enveloping aroma profile.
Color: Dark amber
Nose: Carob and orange dominate the bouquet
Palate: Sweet, with a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. Subtle herbal notes, pronounced orange nuances, with a hint of cocoa and sweetness from the carob. The finish is long, lingering, and intensely aromatic.
Recommendations: Serve with ice and an orange slice. A splash of soda can lighten it if desired. It is perfect as an aperitif and pairs excellently with Gildas, tapas, or even a simple can of mussels with fries. Its sweet profile makes it ideal for cocktails; paired with Red Citrus Bitter and Gin Eva, spectacular Negronis can be created.
