The table salt of the type “Granito” (grains) is an untreated sea salt. It is not refined. It is only sun-dried and then ground. It contains no bleaching agents or additives like chemical iodine or fluoride. Instead, it is rich in natural minerals and trace elements. In addition to careful production, the exceptionally good water quality in the nature reserve “Parc Natural de ses Salines d’Eivissa,” where SAL de IBIZA is harvested, is responsible for this. We deliberately do not use anti-caking agents. To still maintain flowability, SAL de IBIZA “Granito” is slightly coarser than conventional table salt.
