Biniagual - Mallorca Confiture
Orange Marmalade
The orange marmalade from Biniagual is made from untreated oranges that grow on the Finca Biniagual and are harvested directly before processing. The marmalade is cooked according to a family recipe, using the pulp, juice, and peel, and only gelling sugar is added. The marmalade is characterized by its fresh taste and has a beautiful balance between fruity sweetness and mild acidity.
Collaboration with Amadip Esment
True to the philosophy of holistic management of the Finca Biniagual, which aims to preserve farming as it functioned for centuries, the operators pursue a dual goal with the marmalades: on the one hand, utilizing their own oranges, and on the other hand, collaborating with the Amadip Esment Foundation, which is dedicated to integrating mentally disabled people into working life. Thanks to the new task provided by Finca Biniagual, they have learned a new skill, namely, cooking homemade marmalade.
Integrated Agriculture
Finca Biniagual operates in accordance with the guidelines of Integrated Agriculture, an agricultural system that combines natural resources and farming techniques to keep the use of artificial fertilizers, chemical pest control agents, etc., to a minimum. By prioritizing environmentally friendly techniques, this agriculture guarantees sustainable food production.
