Across approximately 70 hectares of vineyards, the winery’s team cultivates a diverse selection of premium red, white, and rosé wines, all bottled under the Vi de la Terra Mallorca designation. The vineyards combine indigenous Mallorcan grape varieties, such as Callet, Manto Negro, and Gorgollassa, with international varieties including Syrah and Viognier. Organic vineyard management and meticulous craftsmanship in the winery ensure that every wine authentically expresses its origin and the unique character of Mallorca.
Can Axartell – A Modern Winery with Innovative Winemaking
With an annual production of up to 450,000 bottles, Bodega Can Axartell is one of Mallorca’s modern quality-focused wine producers. The portfolio ranges from fresh, aromatic Mallorcan white wines and elegant rosé wines to complex red wines that impress with their character, balance, and Mediterranean aromas. One of the winery’s unique features is its impressive, largely underground cellar, built into a former gypsum quarry. Here, the wines are produced using the Método Gravetat, a traditional gravity-flow winemaking method. By avoiding the use of pumps, the grapes are handled with exceptional care, preserving the structure, freshness, and aromas of the Mallorcan wines.
