Bodega Butxet – Authentic Mallorca Wines from Muro
In northern Mallorca, in Muro, between the coast and the island’s interior, lies the Bodega Butxet. This family-run winery stands for handcrafted, high-quality Mallorcan wines bottled under the designation of origin Vi de la Terra Mallorca. All wines produced by the Bodega come from the winery’s own vineyards on Mallorca and reflect the island’s Mediterranean terroir. With a deliberately limited annual production, Butxet combines tradition, regional identity, and modern winemaking techniques.

Craftsmanship: Red, Rosé and White Wines from Mallorca
Bodega Butxet produces distinctive red, rosé and white wines that reflect the characteristic Mediterranean climate of Mallorca. Warm sunny days, cooler nights and limestone soils give the wines freshness, aromatic intensity and structure. The focus is on indigenous grape varieties such as Prensal Blanc, Giró Ros and Callet, complemented by international varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The bodega’s white wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, resulting in a fresh, fruity and elegant style. The red wines are partly matured in French and American oak barrels, gaining depth, complexity and harmoniously integrated notes of oak. The rosé wines are fresh, vibrant and Mediterranean in character – the perfect choice for sunny days.
Butxet – A Small Winery with a Clear Identity
With an annual production of around 35,000 to 40,000 bottles, Bodega Butxet is one of Mallorca’s smaller, quality-focused wineries. Each cuvée is crafted with great attention to detail, using a hands-on approach and parcel-by-parcel vinification to bring out the unique character of the grapes.
The portfolio includes a fresh, fruit-driven white wine, a vibrant rosé, and expressive red wines with Mediterranean aromas and balsamic nuances. Butxet’s wines represent a modern interpretation of Mallorcan wine: authentic, limited in production, and shaped by a true passion for craftsmanship.
