The company was founded in 1960, at a time when glassblowing was experiencing a boom and there were many glass factories on the island. Today, only five companies remain in Mallorca. Lafiore is a family-run business that processes decorative glass pieces. Its renowned prestige is recognized not only in Spain but worldwide. Lafiore is the second-largest and most famous glass factory after Gordiola. At the Lafiore glass factory, efforts have always been made to distinguish themselves from the competition, particularly through the colors of the objects. The typical Mallorcan glass object is transparent with a hint of color: cobalt blue, turquoise, caramel. That's all. At Lafiore, glass objects are produced that have a distinct recognition value. Therefore, new colors have been introduced: red, black, yellow, green, blue. The traditional design has been modernized.
